I have been in my new home for two and a half weeks and I love it more every day. Two days ago I went with my son, Jonathan (OM’s CFO, Chief Financial Officer) to look for new office space for the Outrageous Mastery® team.
We found a wonderful 1450 square foot office that will be custom designed for our needs. Jon wants to pattern the work environment after Google’s. So instead of getting the suite of six offices (that I chose), where each office had a large window looking out at trees and another big window facing the center hall (all brand new), I let the guys choose a huge open space office with only three enclosed offices.
Jon will have the first executive office, Mark, our Director of Joint Ventures and Affiliates, will have another executive office and the third will be a large conference room.
The other offices will be designed and built in the next few weeks. The main area – and it is huge – will have a large weight lifting machine, a ping-pong table, dart board, And possibly a basketball area. Jon insists it will help them work better! Hmmmm.
The Outrageous Mastery® team now includes, Jonathan, our CIO, Mark, our Director of Joint Venture and Affiliate Marketing, Carl, our Executive Web Designer, Antoine, our new support and sales person, who will offer live support on-line, build a strong support team and begin speaking to each coaching applicant to determine their needs and help them begin their coaching program with one of our international coaches.
Within the next four weeks, we will be hiring a full-time person for SEO (search-engine optimization) and pay per click advertising, along with an assistant for Carl.
The guys are out buying tons of office furniture today and setting up our new office. They are all so excited. They are also buying huge white boards for every available wall. They can’t wait to fill them up with our dreams, goals, accomplishments, plans, projections and progress.
Every full-time person was given new I-phones this week with the company paying their monthly fees. We have one happy team!
My goal has been to not hire anyone unless it is their dream job and they love what they are doing. So far, so good.
I work out of my home office and will go into the new office once a week for planning meetings.
Carl Nuckowski, our Executive Web Designer, is the one who creates all of our magnificent websites – and there are many! He works out the technical issues, designs our Outrageous Mastery Phenomenon and everything in between. Jon and Mark are helping him load his executive desk onto the truck to take to our new office as I write this.
Let me tell you a bit about Carl because I would love to introduce you to our amazing team in a much more personal way. After all they are part of our OM family, just like you are.
My son Michael discovered Carl years ago when Mike was just beginning to form his vision. Carl helped Mike for years until I stole him away. Jonathan was also working with Michael until I stole him away. Mike said he’s not introducing me to anyone else! LOL (I didn’t really steal them away, they just began working with me part-time while Mike expanded into other areas.)
When Carl met Mike, he was an engineer from the East Coast. Now, he is a “single,” 30-something, web specialist. (Any single women who would like to get to know Carl better can email him at Carl@OutrageousMastery.com. LOL - Just make sure it is after work hours! He doesn’t know I am writing this, so just surprise him.)
Okay, back to being serious. Carl loves to bike, recently acquired a taste for Mexican food, loves taking things apart to see how they work, dislikes cold weather and abruptness, likes sunshine, walking around Town Lake, Frisbee golf, playing basketball, Whole Foods, Rounders Pizzeria, yoga, building websites, writing, reading books that make him think, good friends and happy people!
We just consider him part of the family.

And I might even send you photos of my new home and our new office – after all the boxes are unpacked.
